Skin care is essential during winter season. Low temperature and humidity affects the health of the skin. Taking an extra care is needed to protect skin from getting dry. Dryness, rough skin is common during this season. Since, dryness is a major concern in winter season so, additional care of your skin is required in this season.   Due to lack of moisturizer skin loses its glow in winter season and it causes dehydration.

Dry and itchy skin is common in this season. You may notice dull, uneven skin tone and fine lines in this season. To keep your skin protected you must follow a skin care routine in winter season. Having a skin care routine will boost skin health and it will keep the glow of your skin. 

In winter season exposed areas like face, hand, and feet gets dry easily. Protecting your skin is critical since, hair scalp also gets affected in this season, dry and itchy scalp is common in winter season. Dandruff is a common hair problem during winters. • Sunscreen- During winter season, to protect skin from harmful UV rays. It is recommended to use sunscreen while going out. Applying right SPF sunscreen lotion protects skin from tanning and sunburn. Choose sunscreen lotion as per your skin tone.

To protect your skin in winter, healthy diet is must. Choose diet according to your health. Eating fruits and vegetables which contains vitamins and anti-oxidants is good for skin. Eat fruits which keeps your skin hydrated in winter season. Include leafy and green vegetables in winter.   

5. Drink Water- 


Drinking water is essential for skin health as water keeps skin hydrated, you must drink plenty of water daily. During winter season you should drink atleast 2-3 liters of water in a day. Drinking water removes excess oil from skin and opens skin pores.
